We provide families and children with practical and motivational support through philanthropic and civic-minded community based activities. In their voluntary pursuits, members of the UPLIFT Excellence Foundation, Inc. are guided philosophically by the fundamental ideals expressed in their motto: "Lifting as we climb." This foundation was birthed from Tim Watson's Happy Holidays Annual Food Drive began in November of 1994 during his second NFL season to give back to less fortunate families in his hometown community of Fort Valley, GA. The activities of the organization have expanded to include administering the food drive in Phoenix, AZ and Tampa, FL; conducting youth leadership development & life-skills training programs and sports camps in the aforementioned areas; awarding financial scholarships for qualifying less fortunate youth to participate in area sports programs; and sponsoring The Running Tigers Youth Track Club in the Tampa Metro Area. Our organization fosters mentor/mentee relationships through recruitment of members who become UPLIFT Bridge Builders and UPLIFT Ambassadors. Ambassadors are youth program participants who are mentored and impacted through their development in life skills, academics, and sports. Bridge Builders are the adult volunteers who serve as coaches or mentors of the Ambassadors to cultivate their development within the various programs.

Additionally, the UPLIFT Excellence Foundation is a sister organization of for-profit business UPLIFT Systems, LLC and receives funding from the donation of 25% of UPLIFT Systems' net revenues. Proceeds are directed to the aforementioned community causes, as well as national outreaches.
